Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Letter from the President

Welcome to the Delta Rho Chapter of AOII at DePaul University! Thank you for taking the time to check out our website and find out what we’re all about!

Joining AOII was one of the best decisions I have made in my college career. Not only did I find myself surrounded by a hundred women to help me grow, navigate life, and have fun, but I found leadership opportunities, service opportunities, a panhellenic community, and a supportive group of friends that have led me to be the person I am today. Every member of our chapter is incredible in their own unique way, and together we create the family that is Delta Rho. This chapter means the world to me, and I don’t know where I would be without the experiences I’ve had and my sisters.

The tagline of AOII is to inspire ambition. I can truly say these women have inspired me in many ways to reach for new heights, grow my potential, and move out of my comfort zone. They trusted me enough to elect me to be president as a sophomore and to lead the incredible women on our Leader's Council throughout the year to plan four philanthropy events, two social events, many sisterhoods, and many other activities in addition to chapter operations. I found my best friends, gym buddies, and mentors in women who were in leadership positions when I first pledged AOII along with the women I ran home with on bid day. I am proud to be a sister of Delta Rho chapter, and I can’t wait for all of the memories and experiences yet to come!
